What Was the Last Gift You Received?

What was the last gift you received?

Was it a birthday present? Maybe you’d forgotten it was your special day until someone surprised you, and their kindness and thoughtfulness brightened your smile all afternoon.

Perhaps it was a different kind of gift; maybe you were having a bad day and a card or treat was sent by a thoughtful friend. Or you were struggling and someone gave of their time or money, or physically met your need in an unexpected way.

Regardless of whether they come wrapped with a bow or are given through our actions, unexpected gifts soften our hearts, lighten our burdens, and connect us with one another. They remind us that we’re not alone – someone cares; God is listening. Sometimes that reminder is all we need.

Whether you send your sponsored child some extra support for a need in their life or a gift to celebrate an occasion, there are many ways you can remind them that they are valued and loved by you and by God. Gifts are available for all different reasons:

  • Birthdays
  • Graduation
  • Child or Family needs
  • Projects
  • Christmas

Love and support are your gifts to your child. The ability to give it is God’s gift to you.

Send your sponsored child a gift today.
