A quick glimpse: Infographic
Suggested language for sharing: Did you know that globally, one in five kids aren’t in school? This can lead to all kinds of risks, especially for girls: child marriage, human trafficking, continuing or increased poverty. What’s more, because of the pandemic, millions of kids are falling behind. Eleven million girls are at risk of dropping out of school all together.
But we can respond. Give to Compassion’s education initiative.

Suggested language for sharing: “I thought I was stuck.” This is a common sentiment of kids and teens in this community in Guatemala, where many do not even finish elementary school. And some of the profits from the bakery are used to give academic scholarships to students!
