For many kids in Compassion’s programs, soccer is more than just a game. It provides community and keeps kids motivated. Seeing others succeed gives children hope that they can, too.
The FIFA World Cup is a great example of this.
Not only is FIFA the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world, but six countries Compassion works in—Ghana, Honduras, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador—have qualified to compete! If your child is from one of these countries, they’re probably very excited to cheer their team on.
